Wabi-Sabi Films is devoted to creating unconventional narratives and documentaries on all subjects whether they be taboo, mainstream, revolutionary, or completely lack any social value except to entertain. We make movies because we love movies, and we embrace every genre in moving pictures for its participation in the ancient art of storytelling.

Malcolm Lam graduated from Syracuse University in 1998, earning a Bachelor of Science in TV, radio, and film production. He began his career working as a videographer, field producer, non-linear editor, and production assistant for the likes of MTV, CNN International, ABC 20/20, Radio Television Hong Kong, Law & Order, and the Metro Channels. He started Wabi-Sabi Films in order to move away from television production and expand his creative skills in the visual medium.
